Wild Pu-erh Chinese Tea, Cave-Aged -2004

A light, soft tea for those transitioning into complex tea flavors

Pu-erh tea leaves are unique in their own right. The fresh leaves are often aged for many years, which transform a fresh, bitter green into a dark, mellow, rich, and highly sought-after tea leaf.

Our pure leaf from Kunming, China is from the Yunnan Provence, which is known for their Pu-erh tea. It has been cave-aged for 2 years, which is a great starting point for newer tea drinkers.

The tea sits lightly and softly on the palate, which is a great primer for those looking to transition into deeper, earthier, and older Pu-erhs.

The health benefits of this tea are more subdued than some of our other blends due to the mildness, but you may experience a metabolism increase, blood purification, and perhaps most notably, assistance in the healthy maintenance of liver and kidney function function.

The Pu-erh leaf is also known for being somewhat of a hangover cure.

The Physique family dedicates a portion of our time and resources to charities that help fight hunger. Now, you can feel good about sipping delicious tea and contributing to our world.
